Types of Roof Leaks
Whether you live in a rowhome or free-standing house, we have experience detecting and fixing roof leaks in all kinds of homes.
Common roof types include:
Flat Roof Leaks
A flat roof is one of the most common types of roof. Flat roof leaks can develop from a multitude of issues, including old age, penetration and intersection points, a damaged membrane, and more.
Shingled Roof Leaks
Shingled roof leaks have their own unique sets of issues and circumstances such as damaged flashing, clogged gutters, unsealed areas between roof sections, and age.
Fiberglass Roof Leaks
Fiberglass roofs are a popular choice as a walkable roof surface. While they are intended to have a long lifespan and be low maintenance, if they weren’t installed or maintained properly, you may find yourself with a leak.
Roof Deck Leaks
There are a variety of structure types and waterproofing methods for rooftop decks. Roof deck leaks can develop from a multitude of issues including age, weight, deferred maintenance, and connection points to other structures.
Mystery Leaks
Leaks inside your home can sometimes be coming from sources independent of the roof directly above. Potential issues at the property line, connection points to other structures, as well as intersection points of unlike materials, can all mask the source of a leak.

FAQs
Yes, we fix all kinds of interior and exterior leak issues, whether it's your roof leaking, your ceiling, or anywhere in your home. Our Leak Detection process covers every possible cause in order to find exactly where the leak starts and what it affects. At the end of the process, we repair your ceiling to restore your home to its original condition.
We don’t work directly with your homeowner’s insurance, but we will work with you if you are getting reimbursed. If you need extra time to figure out the details with your insurance or are waiting for a check from them, we can adjust or pause with you to make the process as smooth as possible.
If the same leak reappears, we will come back to repeat the leak detection process, free of charge. If any issues are found with our workmanship, they will be corrected free of charge. If additional contributing factors are found at the time of the followup Leak Detection those will be presented and an additional estimate for those repairs will be provided. Sometimes a process of elimination is required to resolve all of the leak sources when there is more than one contributing factor in close proximity to others.
The Leak Detection process typically takes between 2-8 hours. You will receive your Leak Report within approximately 14 business days. The leak repair process can vary, though our average repair takes 1-2 days, some extensive repairs may take a couple weeks or more. After repairs have been completed we typically wait for 3-4 weather events that would have traditionally elicited the leak to pass by without event before providing a quote for sealing up the drywall and moving onto the cosmetic repairs.
